Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) offer a flexible and tax-efficient way to support Florida Hebrew University. By recommending grants from your DAF, you can help us continue our mission of providing top-quality Torah-based education and enriching the lives of our students.

 
What is a Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)?

A Donor-Advised Fund is a charitable giving account, which allows donors to make a charitable contribution, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to qualified charitable organizations over time.

 
How to Make a Grant to FHU from Your DAF

Step 1: Contact your DAF sponsor (e.g., Fidelity Charitable, Schwab Charitable, Vanguard Charitable, etc.) and recommend a grant to Florida Hebrew University.

 

Step 2: Provide the following information to your DAF sponsor:

  • Organization Name: Florida Hebrew University

  • EIN: 86-1189632

  • Address: 20900 NE 30th Ave, Ste 200, Aventura, FL 33180

  • Phone: T. 954.613.2073 x 4

 

Step 3: Specify any special instructions, such as the purpose of the grant or if it is in honor/memory of someone.

 

Step 4: Inform us of your grant recommendation by emailing to: donations@fhumail.org. This allows us to acknowledge your generous support and ensure that your donation is used according to your wishes.

Do I Need an FHU Account to Donate via DAF?

FHU does not need a separate account to accept donations from Donor-Advised Funds. Your DAF sponsor handles all aspects of the transaction. Once you recommend a grant to FHU, the DAF sponsor will distribute the funds directly to us.
